Every time I ask for help with an email or a plan it spits out something that sounds like a robot wrote it. My friend gets way better stuff out of the same tool. Is there a trick to the way I’m asking?
You’re probably giving it a task without context. Instead of ‘write a marketing email,’ tell it who you are, who’s reading it, the tone, and one example you like. I literally paste in a past email of mine and say ‘match this voice.’ The output goes from bland to usable in one shot.
Carla yes, and it’s a game changer. My other fix: ask it to give me 3 versions and rate its own answers on which is punchiest. Then I pick and edit. Treating it like a rough draft partner instead of a vending machine changed everything for me.
