I’ve been on the free ChatGPT for a while but people keep mentioning Claude for longer writing. I don’t want to juggle five tools. For someone doing blog posts and client emails, is it worth switching or adding a second one?
I use both for different jobs. Claude feels more natural for long-form and it holds a consistent voice across a 2000 word piece better for me. ChatGPT I lean on for brainstorming and quick punchy stuff. You don’t have to pick a religion, just try the same prompt in both and keep whichever one you actually enjoy reading back.
Ran a little test last month: same client newsletter draft in each. Claude’s read cleaner out of the box, ChatGPT gave me better subject line options. I now draft in one and steal headlines from the other. Client renewed, so whatever works.
